What happens when community members need to show their support to Save Tysons Last Forest? They organize a block party, invite all the Vienna, Fairfax, and state leaders, give guided tours, and hold a successful rally!

Powerful Participants
We invite everyone we know! Participants included Fairfax County Chairman Sharon Bulova, Fairfax Supervisor Cathy Hudgins, VA Senator Chap Petersen, VA Delegate Barbara Comstock (now Congress Member), VA Delegate Mark Keam, and Vienna Town Councilmember Carey Sienicki. We lead them on tours of Tysons Last Forest, educated them, and rallied with them!

We made signs, Neighborhood Coalition graphics, and posters.
Community Spirit
Then we continued our block party into the night! The kids sang karaoke and the adults sang accompanied by piano and guitar. A good time was had by all!
